18-year-old Cristian M. Brown, charged with
murder, appeared in front of the Magistrate Ken Clason in Seneca County Common
Pleas Court on June 29th. Our very own Bucyrus criminal defense lawyer Adam Stone, of The Stone
Law Firm, LTD, entered Cristian’s not guilty plea on his behalf.
Cristian was charged with murder after 18-year-old D’Andre L. Gehring
died in January after a fight which resulted in him being fatally stabbed.
This lethal stabbing occurred in the parking lot of Fostoria Townhouses,
1202 Beier Drive. Though he was picked up by Fostoria Fire Division and
immediately transported to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital, Gehring
later succumbed to his wounds. Others involved with this investigation
include Arlando C. Crowe Jr, also 18. In May, he pleaded guilty to obstruction
of justice, which is a third-degree felony. He has now been sentenced
to 30 months in prison. This case is still under investigation and Attorney
Stone will represent Cristian throughout the entirety of the proceedings.
